What We Offer

Swish Therapy provides in-home and community OT services across the northern Gold Coast and southern Brisbane corridor, including Ormeau, Pimpama, Coomera, Helensvale, Southport, Beenleigh, Logan Village, and surrounding areas. Not sure if we cover your area? Get in touch — we'd love to help.

  • We support NDIS participants to build independence in the everyday tasks that matter most — from personal care and getting dressed, to preparing meals, managing routines, and navigating the home environment. We work with you to develop practical strategies that make daily life easier, more enjoyable, and more your own.

  • Fine motor skills are the small movements that have a big impact — handwriting, using cutlery, doing up buttons, handling everyday objects, and more. Using evidence-based, engaging activities, we help develop hand strength, coordination, and dexterity so that these tasks feel less frustrating and more achievable.

  • Building meaningful connections is a vital part of a fulfilling life. We support NDIS participants to develop the communication, confidence, and relationship skills needed to connect with others in everyday settings — whether that's at school, in the community, or at home. Sessions are tailored to each individual's goals and delivered in real-world environments where possible.

  • Sensory processing difficulties can affect how a person experiences the world around them — making everyday environments and activities feel overwhelming, uncomfortable, or challenging. We work with NDIS participants to understand their unique sensory profile and develop tailored strategies and environments that support regulation, comfort, and participation in daily life.

  • Cognitive strategy training helps people develop practical tools and techniques to manage everyday challenges related to memory, attention, organisation, and problem-solving. We work with NDIS participants to build personalised strategies that fit their lifestyle — helping them feel more in control, confident, and capable in day-to-day life.

  • The right equipment can make an enormous difference to everyday independence. We assess your individual needs and recommend low to mid complexity assistive technology — including everyday aids, adaptive equipment, and supports for daily living tasks. We guide you through the process from assessment to recommendation, helping you find practical solutions that fit your life.

  • A functional capacity assessment (FCA) is a comprehensive report that outlines how your disability impacts your day-to-day life and what supports you need. Our assessments are thorough, person-centred, and clearly written to support your NDIS planning and funding goals. The process typically includes two assessment sessions, standardised assessment interpretation, and a detailed written report.

  • We work with the people who matter most — carers, parents, and support workers — to build their confidence and capacity in supporting their loved one. Carer training sessions are practical, hands-on, and tailored to the individual's specific needs and goals. When the people around someone are better equipped, everyone benefits.

  • A home and living report supports NDIS participants to access funding for the living arrangements and supports that best meet their needs. We conduct a thorough assessment of your current situation, goals, and support requirements, and produce a clear, evidence-based report to assist with your NDIS application or plan review.

  • We provide a range of written support letters to assist NDIS participants and their families with applications, plan reviews, and other processes. All letters are professionally written, evidence-based, and tailored to your individual circumstances.
